About Hayley Harrison
Having grown up in Lufkin, Texas, Hayley moved to College Station in 2011 to attend Texas A&M University. She immediately became involved with the Texas A&M Pre-Law Society, Texas Aggie Cattlewomen, Aggie Orientation Leaders Program, and Aggie Women in Leadership. Her natural curiosity for governance and international politics led her to pursue a degree in Political Science. Along the way, the same curiosity caused Hayley to find herself studying abroad in New Zealand and Australia in 2013. In 2014, Hayley graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Tourism Resource Management.
Immediately upon graduation, Hayley moved to Houston to continue her education by attending law school at South Texas College of Law Houston. Seeking to fulfill her calling of service to others, Hayley worked with non-profit legal organizations to assist victims of domestic violence. In fact, Hayley was awarded Pro Bono Honors for contributing a large amount of her time throughout law school in an endeavor to provide legal services to the public. Throughout law school, Hayley was involved with the Family Law and Probate Society and the Christian Legal Society at South Texas College of Law Houston and the Houston Young Lawyers Association. Additionally, Hayley was an active participant in the Randall O. Sorrels Legal Clinics at South Texas College of Law Houston focusing primarily on the Guardianship division. Upon graduation, Hayley returned to the Brazos Valley; a place that she is blessed and proud to call home.
Today, Hayley lives in College Station with her husband and their weenie dog and two Golden Retrievers. Both Hayley and her husband attend Central Church as faithful servants of their Lord and Savior. Additionally, Hayley spends much of her time as a volunteer with the Junior League of Bryan-College Station coordinating the annual Stuff the Bus event. In her (nonexistent) spare time, you can find Hayley reading a good mystery novel, watching Law & Order SVU, exploring the natural wonders of the world, or dining at Chick-fil-A.
