Why Families Trust Our College Station Law Firm

Proven Track Record

Statue of Justice

The outcome of a divorce, child support, or child custody case will have lifelong ramifications. When it comes to family law situations, it pays to choose a lawyer who has dedicated their life to handling them.

Attorney Randy Michel has been helping Texans win family law cases since 1980. A full 70% of the cases our law firm handles are in family law. By focusing on family law for several decades, Mr. Michel has developed a heightened ability to find effective, creative legal solutions.

Diverse Resolution Abilities

Chess pieces

Family law is not an area with one-size-fits-all solutions. For example, some divorce or custody cases may see parents collaborate, while others are incredibly fraught and involve domestic violence, financial fraud, and more. Having lawyers who can handle matters in a variety of ways is invaluable.

Mr. Michel spent many years as an arbitrator, judge, and mediator. This allows him to see cases from all sides and frequently find peaceful resolutions. He is also one of just 695 attorneys in the whole state of Texas who is board certified in civil trial law. If your case requires going to court, you can be confident with him on your side.

Community Spirit

people's hands touching

Mr. Michel has spent decades working tirelessly for Texan families. Aside from the great satisfaction he feels from solving their issues, his success has provided him the means to give back to his community.

Our lead attorney created The Working Student Scholarship to provide tuition help to high school students who work to support their families while excelling in their studies. Mr. Michel has also done extensive pro bono work for Grace Bible Church, the Brazos Food Bank, and the City of College Station's Planning & Zoning Commission.
